A charming Provencal mini-estate set in 3 hectares of flat land in the valley below the medieval village of Bagnols en Foret. 45 minutes from Nice International airport, 17 kilometres from the Cote D’Azur, 10 minutes from the world class golf at Terre Blanche and with uninterrupted views of the facing hills.

Plan des Granges is built around an original mas (flat-fronted house), perhaps 400-500 years old. The house and land was acquired in the 1950’s by a famous fashion designer who created, around a courtyard, a “maison principale”, a “maison amis”, a tower, a studio, and even a “maison de café”. All these buildings were created using rescued materials, and are in the style of the original. The present owners have added a swimming pool with a poolhouse and summer kitchen, a full size tennis court, and a piste de boules.

As you would expect from a creative owner, and as you will see from the photos, the property has some interesting (and unexpected) art.

The property has 10 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, and because of the flexibility of the space, we have slept up to 30 people.
